

Mr Martin Klinke
Mr. Martin Klinke has a particular interest in hindfoot pathologies, ankle replacement surgery, sports injuries and forefoot disorders. He undertakes the whole spectrum of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including ankle arthroscopy (key hole surgery), minimal invasive Achilles tendon repair and operative reconstruction of foot deformities. Martin Klinke is a member of the English, American, Swiss and German Foot and Ankle Society.

Biography
Martin Klinke graduated from medical school in Frankfurt and received his master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Nice.
He completed his post graduate orthopaedic training in the major teaching hospitals of Germany and Paris, followed by a specialised foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. In 2001 Mr Klinke worked for a year with Professor Hinterman, a world-leading specialist in ankle replacements.
Mr. Klinke was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in 2002. He joined The London Foot and Ankle Centre in 2003 where he has been based full-time since 2007, based at The London Bridge Hospital, The Lister Hospital and The Cromwell Hospital.
Mr. Klinke has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally and also travels abroad to operate on specific complex cases. He covers the whole spectrum of foot and ankle surgery with a special interest in ankle joint replacements, sports injuries and forefoot corrections. He also has a great interest in minimal invasive foot surgery as well as arthroscopic (key hole) procedures.
