I am currently in clinical practice as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon (specialising in disorders of the foot and the ankle) at Spire Murrayfield, Wirral (private practice) and at The London Foot & Ankle Centre, London (private practice).
I qualified in Medicine at Liverpool University Medical School in 1989
I obtained FRCS in 1995 and FRCS (Orth) in 1998
Significant posts include Fellow – Foot & Ankle Surgery – at The Brisbane Foot & Ankle Centre 2000. Clinical Lead for Foot and Ankle at Wirral since 2005. Founder of Mersey Foot & Ankle Group. Previous Member of BOFAS Scientific Committee. Invited speaker at normal and international meetings.
My clinical practice is in foot and ankle surgery, in trauma with elective tertiary referral practice in both areas.
I have been involved in medico-legal work since 2000 and my work involves both personal injury claims as well as Clinical Negligence work in problems involving the foot and ankle
I work for both Defendant (approx. 35%) and Claimant (60%) as well as under joint instruction (5%).
My medico-legal practice is based in London at The London Foot & Ankle Centre at The St John & St Elizabeth Hospital and in Liverpool at 28 Rodney Street.
