I am currently in clinical practice as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust Hospital since 2003, in general trauma and knee surgery.
I qualified in Medicine at the University of St. Andrews in 1989 & Manchester 1992
I obtained FRCS in 1996 and FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 2001.
Training Appointment of Specialist Registrar in Orthopaedics, Northwest, August 1997 to 2002
Significant posts include Fellow – Clinical Fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine & Arthroplasty at the Orthopaedic & Arthritic Institute - the largest standalone Orthopaedic Hospital in Canada 2002 to 2003
National Examiner for FRCS 2008 to 2018
My clinical practice special interest is in knee surgery
I am presently actively involved in teaching, training and clinical research and audit.
I have been in medico-legal practice since 2003 and have submitted over 350 reports. Between 10 to 30 per annum
I work for both Defendant and Claimant as well as under joint instruction.
My medico-legal practice is based in London at The London Foot & Ankle Centre at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital
