Medico-Legal
The London Foot & Ankle Centre (LFAC) was founded 21 years ago by esteemed surgeon Mark Davies. It was the first specialist orthopaedic clinic specialising in foot and ankle treatments in the UK.
Today it remains at the forefront of foot and ankle clinical excellence and whilst Mark Davies has now retired (March 2024) his team of specialist foot and ankle consultant surgeons remain to treat patients from all over the UK and the world.
Introduction to LFAC Medico-Legal
Medico-legal reporting has been a cornerstone of the LFAC service for over 17 years, and demand has significantly increased in recent years due to our reputation for delivering efficient and prompt services with unmatched turnaround times.
Building on the success of our specialized medico-legal services, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our expertise into new clinical areas. Two new consultants will be joining our team, bringing with them extensive experience in the assessment and management of knee injuries.
This expansion allows us to provide a broader range of services while maintaining the high standards you have come to expect from LFAC.
To reflect this growth, we will be rebranding to better represent the comprehensive range of medico-legal services we now offer. Our new name will be Axiomedica.

Mr. Michael Hennessy and Mr. James Davis will continue to lead our foot and ankle medico-legal services, leveraging their extensive clinical experience in London, Liverpool, and Torquay.
They are joined by Mr. Michael Hockings and Mr. David Isaac, who are specialists in knee disorders with over fifteen years of active medical practice.
Our new consultants are committed to delivering the same exceptional standards of reporting and efficiency, under the mentorship of Mr. Hennessy and Mr. Davis.
By expanding our team and services, we aim to provide comprehensive medico-legal reporting across both foot and ankle, as well as knee injuries, ensuring that our clients receive the most thorough and specialized assessments available.
