I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Foot and Ankle Surgery with a high-volume elective and trauma practice. I am a former NHS Consultant (2018–2025) and am now in full-time private and medicolegal practice.
I have extensive experience in complex foot and ankle conditions, including trauma, degenerative disease, sports injuries, and revision surgery.
I am on the GMC specialist register for Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery. I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the British Medical Association.
Scope of Practice
- Adult foot and ankle surgery (elective and trauma)
- Post-traumatic conditions and complications
- Degenerative conditions including arthritis
- Sports-related foot and ankle injuries
- Minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques
- Ankle replacement and revision surgery
I undertake medicolegal work in personal injury, providing an independent expert opinion in relation to foot and ankle conditions.
I have completed formal training in expert report writing (Bond Solon – Excellence in Report Writing).
I am familiar with the duties of an expert witness, including compliance with Civil Procedure Rules (Part 35) and preparation of condition and prognosis reports.
I am currently developing my clinical negligence (breach of duty and causation) practice.
