Mr Mark S. Davies
Mark Davies took up a place to read medicine at Oxford University in 1981 and undertook his clinical training at St Mary’s Hospital, London. Mr Davies carried out his post-graduate training in and around London on the North West Thames circuit, gaining the FRCS (Orth) accreditation in 1996. In 1997 he worked for a year with the world-renowned foot and ankle surgeon, Terence Saxby, in Brisbane, and completed his training on his return at The Royal National Orthopeadic Hospital. Mr Davies was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle disorders, at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in 1999. He has recently re-written chapters for Gray’s Anatomy and The New Aird’s Companion in Surgical Studies on foot and ankle conditions and has published extensively within his field. Mr Davies founded the London Foot and Ankle Centre in 2003 and is Clinical Director of the LFAC. Mr Davies now works full time at the LFAC, accepting referrals from all over the UK and abroad.
