Mark Davies
Mark S. Davies
took up a place to read medicine at Oxford University in 1981 and undertook his clinical training at St Mary´s Hospital, London. Mr Davies carried out his post-graduate training in and around London on the North West Thames circuit, gaining the FRCS (Orth) accreditation in 1996. In 1997 he worked for a year with the world-renowned foot and ankle surgeon, Terence Saxby, in Brisbane, and completed his training on his return at The Royal National Orthopeadic Hospital. Mr Davies was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle disorders, at Guy´s & St Thomas´ hospitals in 1999. He has recently re-written chapters for Gray´s Anatomy and The New Aird's Companion in Surgical Studies on foot and ankle conditions and has published extensively within his field. Mr Davies founded the London Foot and Ankle Centre three years ago and is Clinical Director of the LFAC. Mr Davies now works full time at the LFAC, accepting referrals from all over the UK and abroad.

Matthew Solan
Matthew Solan
graduated from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1992 and completed General Surgical training in London, Guildford and Oxford. His specialist Orthopaedic training was in the South Thames (West) Region. Mr Solan was awarded a British Orthopaedic Travelling Fellowship to Dublin and has also worked overseas in South Africa and at the Universities of Johns Hopkins and Maryland, Baltimore, USA. In 2003, Mr Solan was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital. He was appointed to the Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2006. His special interests are in Orthopaedic Trauma and in Foot & Ankle disorders in adults and children. Mr Solan has published extensively on foot and ankle surgery.

John Angel
John Angel recently retired from his NHS post as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Foot & Ankle Surgery at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, in Stanmore. He is an ex President of The British Orthopaedic Foot Surgery Society and was the representative of the Royal College of Surgeons on the Joint Assessment Panel of the Orthotic and Prosthetic Training and Education Council. John also represented the British Orthopaedic Association for the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation.
Peter Rosenfeld
Peter Rosenfeld
graduated from the London Hospital Medical College in 1993. He continued his Orthopaedic training in London teaching hospitals, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. After passing the FRCS(Orth) in 2003 he completed a one year fellowship in Brisbane, Australia under the expert tuition of Dr Terence Saxby, a world-renowned foot & ankle surgeon. He was appointed as the Consultant Foot & Ankle surgeon at St Mary’s Hospital, London in 2004. Mr Rosenfeld has extensive experience in the treatment of a wide variety of hindfoot and forefoot conditions, sports injuries and trauma. His particular field of interest is arthroscopy of the ankle and foot, and cartilage reconstruction. Mr Rosenfeld has published extensively in these fields.
Matthew Solan
Martin Klinke graduated from medical school in Frankfurt and received his master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Nice. He completed his post graduate orthopaedic training in various university hospitals in Germany and at two major teaching hospitals in Paris, France. Thereafter Mr Klinke undertook a specialised foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. In 2001 Mr. Klinke worked for a year with Professor Hinterman, a world leading specialist for ankle replacements in the highly respected Foot and Ankle Unit of the University Hospital of Basle, Switzerland. He is now a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy´s and St Thomas´ hospitals where he undertakes the whole spectrum of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Mr Klinke has a particular interest in hindfoot pathologies, ankle replacement surgery and sports injuries.
 
David Redfern
David Redfern
graduated from The London Hospital Medical College in 1993 and continued his postgraduate training in London and Cambridge. Mr Redfern spent a year as Orthopaedic Fellow at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. He then completed a foot & ankle surgery fellowship at the Avon Orthopaedic Unit, Bristol. In 2004, Mr Redfern was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals where he runs a specialist foot & ankle service. He has extensive experience in the treatment of a wide spectrum of ankle, hind and forefoot disorders, trauma and sports injuries, including arthroscopic surgery. Mr Redfern has published internationally on foot and ankle surgery and sits on the Scientific Committee of the European Foot & Ankle Society.
Antony Kontos
Podiatrist Antony Kontos, qualified at The London Foot Hospital and School of Podiatric medicine in 1980. Mr Kontos has undertaken clinical teaching at University College Hospital, London and also lectured on courses at the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has a well-established private practice in Sloane Square and in the past has provided podiatric services to the City of London and Metropolitan Police. He has extensive experience in all aspects of podiatry, including bio- mechanics, management of the diabetic foot and day case podiatric surgery.
Juliet Mollica
Juliet Mollica
became a Podiatrist in 1999 after graduating from Latrobe University, Melbourne, Australia with high distinctions in her clinical practice and orthotic therapy. Juliet, who has played on the professional tennis circuit, gained valuable experience in private practice with both general and elite athletes, including members of the Australian Olympic team, before deciding to move overseas. In the UK, Juliet has specialized in gait analysis and orthotic therapy for the treatment and prevention of sport or activity related injuries. Her approach to injury treatment is a holistic one, working closely with the orthopaedic team and physiotherapists to obtain optimum results.
