Foot and ankle centre of excellence comes to the heart of the city

London’s established centre of excellence for Foot and Ankle treatment has just opened a new clinic in the heart of the city.
The London Foot and Ankle Centre, founded at the Hospital of St Johns & St Elizabeth, in St John´s Wood three years ago, has set up a second clinic in London Bridge Hospital.
The Foot and Ankle Centre provides highly specialist expertise and advanced treatment for the wide range of foot and ankle disorders.
The first of its kind in the UK, the centre has brought together a multi-disciplinary team of leading experts in a field that is particularly technical and complex.
“London Bridge Hospital is based in a fantastic location in the centre of the city, overlooking Tower Bridge and the River Thames,” explains Martin Klinke, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who is based at the new clinic.
“People working in the city can walk to the clinic for a consultation during their lunch break or in the evening, which is very convenient after a long working day.
“It is also a great location for people living in Kent and across the south eastern counties because it is so close to London Bridge Station and Liverpool Street Station.”
Mr Klinke emphasised: “It is very important that people with persistent foot and ankle problems seek medical attention from a specialist within that field,”
“In the UK, foot and ankle surgery has really emerged as a distinct orthopaedic sub-specialty during the past five to ten years.
